In May 2015, the American Public Power Association named LES recipient of the Reliable Public Power Provider (RP3®) Diamond designation. The designation is the premier level of the RP3® recognition awarded to public power providers that deliver the highest degree of reliable and safe electric service. LES received a perfect score in the four key disciplines of reliability, safety, workforce development and system improvement, and is one of only 54 Diamond designees out of 2,000 public power utilities.
