LINCOLN — Lincoln Electric System invites its customer-owners to discuss proposed revisions to the LES service regulations at an open house 6-7 p.m. May 30 at the Walter A. Canney Service Center.
“During the open house, subject matter experts will be available to provide an overview of the modifications to our service regulations,” said Heather Schlautman, manager of LES Customer Care. “Most of the suggested edits just formalize best practices LES has already been following.”
LES’ service regulations, approved by the utility’s board, govern customer and staff interactions and outline the rules for acquiring service from LES. They are the rights and responsibilities for LES as well as those for customers and contractors in regards to receiving, changing and maintaining service from the utility. The revised service regulations for 2017 have been rewritten and formatted to be more customer focused, incorporating content supplied by LES engineers, subject matter experts and existing policies.
The proposed service regulations are being reviewed by the LES Administrative Board and will be up for approval at LES’ next board meeting, 9:30 a.m. June 16 at the Lincoln Electric Building.
