LINCOLN — Lincoln Electric System will be recognized as one of “Nebraska’s Safest Companies” when the National Safety Council, Nebraska, holds its Celebration of Safety on May 15, 2019. The event will mark the 36th Annual Celebration of Safety, honoring organizations, companies and individuals that make the safety of Nebraskans a priority.
“Winning a Nebraska’s Safest Company Award clearly illustrates a company’s commitment to safety,” said Eric Koeppe, president/CEO, National Safety Council, Nebraska. “We are proud to recognize their achievements in providing safe work environments ensuring that their team members return home safely to their families at the end of each workday.”
Safety is a core value at LES. Which is why the company has such an exemplary safety record, better than the national average when compared to its industry classification and has implemented comprehensive safety programs companywide. This is LES’ fifth consecutive year receiving the honor.
“We are proud to be named one of 'Nebraska’s Safest Companies' again this year. Safety is one of Lincoln Electric System’s core values, and we strive to foster a culture of safety in everything we do,” said Jim Rigg, LES safety and physical security manager. “Winning this award is a point of pride, but also reminds us of the importance of our efforts.”
