LES increases payment rate for customer-generated renewable energy. LES encourages and supports cost effective, small power production of electricity by customer-owned qualifying generators, including solar photovoltaic and wind. LES provides rates for purchasing energy delivered to the system, and effective March 1, 2012, qualifying renewable facilities received an increase in payment per kWh. Read more
