LES' EV Ride + Drive is Sept. 24

Find out EV-rything you want to know about electric vehicles at LES' EV Ride + Drive on Sept. 24, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Haymarket Park, 403 Line Drive Circle in Lincoln.

Take an EV for a spin, learn about purchasing and owning a plug-in vehicle from local EV owners and dealers, get a firsthand look at a variety of EVs on display, sit in on our EV seminars, enjoy food trucks, and more!

Go to LES.com/Drive to register for this free event or a test drive and to see the day's lineup of activities! Registration for a test drive prior to the event is required to ensure you get a time slot to drive. Time slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to one test drive per household. Registration will close once all time slots are filled. Spots may be available for same-day walk-ups but are not guaranteed.

Sustainable Energy Program

By taking advantage of the Sustainable Energy Program, you can save money, help reduce the need for energy during expensive peak periods and help delay the necessity to build additional high-cost power plants to serve our community.

LES Peak Rewards

By participating in our Peak Rewards program, you'll allow LES to make brief, limited adjustments to your thermostat during times of peak electric demand. You’ll help your community manage energy more efficiently by contributing to a smarter, more efficient electric system.

Paperless billing

Customers can enroll in paperless billing through LES' online payment portal, and we’re putting savings gained from printing less to support our efforts to create a greener Lincoln.

Renewable Energy Certificates

Renewable Energy Certificates, also known as RECs, were created to help customers prioritize the use of renewable energy resources. Mark your home or business’ energy use as 100% renewable for fractions of a penny on the kilowatt-hour.

COST: about $1/month (average Lincoln home)
LES community solar
Virtual Net Metering

Lease a solar panel from LES (half a panel at a time, as many as you want!). You get credit on your bill for your panel's energy production. After three years, your payments stop, but you continue getting credit for your solar panel through 2036.

COST: $7.75/month (36 months)

SunShares

You can support our community solar facility by participating in the SunShares program. SunShares is an easy and affordable way to promote renewable energy in our community. 

COST: $3/month
Rooftop solar panels
Customer-owned generation

Take power into your own hands with customer-owned generation. Learn more about how to safely connect to the electric system and the multiple generation rates that LES offers.

Electric vehicles
